Dear Dianne and family,
I send my warm condolences and best wishes to you at this sad time following the death of your beloved husband, father, father in law, grandfather and friend Maurice.
I have enjoyed my connection with Maurice (and Dianne) over the years through the Waikato/Waiariki Methodist Synod. Maurice always sought to represent the Te Aroha Cooperating Parish with clarity and pride.
I remember his work on the Te Aroha Community Support Trust. He was keen to see the church reaching out to assist people in need.
He was hugely proud and supportive of Dianne's ministry at Waitoa and in the wider Te Aroha community.
I will be thinking of you all today as you gather to honour and farewell a good man. "Well done good and faithful servant".
May Maurice rest in peace and may faith, hope and love sustain you all, now and in the days ahead.
Arohanui,
(Rev.) Lindsay Cumberpatch
