I was shocked to hear the passing of Maurice. I loved his sense of humor and his huge smile. He was a very good Dad to Katie, Suze and Frankie and will be hugely missed. Memories last forever. Gone too soon.

Maurice was a good friend during our years at King´s School and King´s College. Outgoing and friendly, he was an excellent all-round athlete and sportsman and set a strong example to others.
I am saddened to hear of his sudden passing and extend my condolences to his family.

Maurie and I sat at the back of the 1969 Maths class and together we entertained the troops, much to the disdain of the teacher! He was a great sportsman and general all-round good guy who will be greatly missed. An outstanding fullback in the King's 1st XV! From the Gold Coast, my deepest condolences to his family. A staunch and loyal friend for about 50 years who always contacted me on my birthday without fail. Possessed of an incredible lightning wit which caused severe laughter-cramps. My heartfelt condolences to Libby, the girls and family. Maurice will be greatly missed.

We were shocked to hear of Maurice´s passing. Our thoughts are with Maurice´s family especially
Kate, Susannah and Frankie who our three boys grew up with.
When we arrived in Auckland from
overseas Maurice welcomed us and became a wonderful friend and neighbour.

I read of Maurice's death in the Herald today and was absolutely shocked. My brother, David and I walk our dogs on Fridays and often meet up with Maurice and Libby and their dog. I pass on my condolences to Libby and her family.
