ANDREWS, Maurice Charles. 81803 1st NZ Tank Brigade; 439649KV 4SU Squadron. On Thursday 26 May 2016 in Palmerston North. Dearly loved husband of Joyce for over 72 years (deceased July 2015). Beloved father of Lynne and esteemed father in law of Miles Ellery, Christchurch. In his 98th year. A service for Maurice will be held at the Lychway Funeral Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North on Thursday 2 June 2016 at 2 pm, followed by private interment. Messages can be sent to the Andrews family c/- P0 Box 1014, Palmerston North. Donations in Maurice's memory can be made at the service to the Lloyd Morgan Lions Clubs Charitable Trust. Have had to dig a bit deeper to get the connection correct. I am in error to have put Alice nee Andrews, Alice was nee Lewis and her sister May (Mae?) Lewis married into the Andrews family I believe.

Alice married Ceril Smith; Elvina, their daughter was my mother.

I think that is the connection, if I am wrong, please let me know

Maurice Andrews (Member Number 3) Maurice along with his late wife Joyce was a founding member of the Manawatu Caravan Club. Life Member 1980, Past Patron 2007-2011, Past Chairman 1958-1962, Past President 1983-1985.
