Maureen YOUNG Obituary

YOUNG, Maureen Ava. Passed away unexpectedly on 6th March 2026. Dearly loved mother of Matthew, Kate and Jessica, and cherished grandmother of Cassius. Loved sister of Campbell, and loving aunty of Phillipa and Emma. Proud great-aunty of Izzy, Zara and Keegan; Isaac and Piper. Beloved friend to very many. A nurse by profession and a caregiver by nature, Maureen was the warm centre of every circle she touched ??" in her garden, at her table, and in the quiet constancy of her presence whenever she was needed most. At peace and dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. A celebration of her life to be held at Waipu Presbyterian Church, 50 The Centre, Waipu, Monday 16 March 2026 at 1:00pm

We offer our sincere condolences to Matthew Kate and Jessica also all her family and friends she'll be deeply missed by all who loved her. We met Maureen through her very dear friend Linda. We are so sorry that she passed away so quickly without having time to say goodbye but that's how she was meant to go to her eternal home.Maureen was a beautiful lady who was so special and gentle. She will be deeply missed by her family friends and especially her dear cousin Linda. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Susan and Kevin Woods.
