Maureen and I were not just cousins but also close friends. She was capable, caring, supportive and generous. Maureen had the ability to make humourous observations of life and situations and we shared much laughter. I will always treasure the memories of our time together which in recent years included holidays tat Vanuatu and Italy. I will miss her greatly.

The team at fit20 have gotten to know Maureen through her weekly sessions here in the studio in Rosedale. Along with her partner Jocelyn she was a regular client and committed to the training. We are very saddened by the news of Maureen's passing and the speed in which things evolved. We have donated towards planting some trees, that way Maureen's energy will live on in nature as well. We wish Jocelyn all the best in the time to come.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of this wonderful and extraordinarily kind, loving member of our Mt Eden community. Maureen brought light to my day any time our paths crossed and I loved stopping in at City Cakes just to chat with her sometimes. She hired me yearly to sing in Mt Eden for the Mt Eden Village Christmas celebrations and systematically went above and beyond in terms of generosity and thoughtfulness. We shared a passion for food and loved to talk about keto food, baking and other related topics. She was just so lovely and special. I am confident she will be missed and fondly remembered by many. My love and condolences to Tracy and the rest of Maureen's family and friends in this difficult time. Arohanui... xoxo Sonia.
