Maureen HIGGINS Obituary
HIGGINS, Maureen Julia. Passed away peacefully at North Shore Hospital on 22 September 2024, aged 86. Dearly loved wife of the late Patrick James Higgins, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Anne, Sheryll and Kieran, Michael and Claire. Loved grandmother of Stephen, Jonathon, James, Oliver, Sarah, Lieselle and Aimee. Special thanks to the staff at the Toru Ward of North Shore Hospital for the wonderful care and respect extended to Maureen. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of St Francis by the Sea, Motutapu Avenue, Whangaparaoa on Saturday 28 September at 12.30pm.

HIGGINS, Maureen Julia. Adored sister (and partner in crime) to Shirley (Nook) and sister in law to Tom Downs (both no longer with us). Special Aunty Maureen to David and Claire, Maree, Chris and Rebecca, John and Simmy, Fiona, and Nathan, and families. We have many treasured memories of White Swan Road, Whangaparoa Christmas and New Years celebrations. All our love from the Downs family - We will miss you dearly.
