Maureen Foley Obituary

FOLEY, Maureen Patricia (nee Murrow). Died at Atawhai on 12th February 2011, at peace after a tragic but valiant last 20 months. Very much loved loyal wife and homemaker of Tony for 63 years. Cherished and dearly loved mother and mother in law of Michael and Jennifer, Mark and Marion, Peter and Jill, Christine and Adrian, Mary Anne and Tim, Paul and Rachel. Treasured Grandmother May of Rebecca and Murdoch; James and Sarah; Elizabeth, Simon, Katherine and Matt; Tessa, Jeremy and Timothy; Christopher and Lydia; Emma, Madeleine and Edward. Proud Great Grandmother May of Clementine, Jemima and Freddie; Matilda, Thomas and Max. Grateful thanks for the loving care given to Maureen by the wonderful staff at Atawhai and the amazing love and support of Maureen's friends, especially Sue. Always in our hearts, and will be forever in our fondest memories. May she rest in peace. A celebration of Maureen's life will be held at St Patrick's Catholic Church, Munro St, Napier at 1.30 pm on Tuesday 15 February, 2011 followed by a private interment at Wharerangi.
