Maureen was very forthright and an inspiration to many Her passion for education and improving the rights for women and young girls to aspire to do well in life is legendary. Her work as Women's Vice President and the many remits she spoke on for the National Party and through the Women's Suffrage movement ensured many positive policies and changes were made. I value her mentoring and friendship and know that her mark in the education sector will live on.
