I will never forget how very bad I felt the day we took Matthew, and all the Cubs, for a beach clean up and he stood on oyster shells with his bare feet! It is a recurring memory for me as I felt so sorry to have hurt his feet so badly!! But the experience just showed us all that Matthew's zest for life and all the experiences on offer was bigger than a few cuts. My love and thoughts are with you and all the family, Gary and Heather, as you grieve for Matthew. May he rest peacefully.
