Matthew LARKIN Obituary
LARKIN, Matthew Craig SM Reverend Father. Loved and respected priest and confr?ere of the Society of Mary and member of the Marian Court community. Died peacefully at the Home of Compassion, Silverstream on Saturday 27 June, aged 71. Loved son of the late Maurice and Hilda, brother to Roger (Kerikeri), Andrew (Melbourne), Jane Holst- Larkin (Auckland). Fr Craig's Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Teresa's Church, Karori Road Wellington, on Saturday, 4th July at 11am. A Vigil Rosary will be held at the Home of Compassion, 237 Fergusson Drive, Heretaunga on Friday 3rd July at 7pm. Rest in Peace.

I was at Silverstream in the '70's and Craig took me to a seminary and as we settled into the trip he played a tape of "hot August night " whenever I hear that music I always thought of him. Also he was the celebrate for my first marriage and wrote a wonderful letter to me about how to see my life into the future. I'd always hoped to see you again Craig. Safe journey dear friend.
