Maryrose WILSON Obituary

WILSON, Maryrose QSM, MA (nee Miller). Born October 15, 1926. Passed away on November 5, 2021. Dearly loved wife of Godfrey, loving mother to Paul, Sarah, Jessica and Marianne; Grandma Rosie to Sam, Harry, Freya, Hannah, Faith and Daisy, and good friend to Richard, Norman, Bart and Rhian.

The house is quiet now
And still.
No gale from the sea
No weeping in the garden
Or cry from the hill.
Later there will be Stars and a moon
Tomorrow the sun.

A private cremation has been held and there will be a celebration of Maryrose's life at a later date.

What a force this wonderful woman was. She was such a kind dear friend and mentor to my late father Rev Canon Bob Newman.
I will always treasure her support and she will be remembered with love.

I knew Maryrose when we were both members of a family charitable trust. She was always great company, with a sharp mind and a lovely sense of humour. She also was compassionate and had a keen sense of justice. I enjoyed our times together and so I was very sad to hear she had died. Sarah Maclean
