Mary TAYLOR Obituary

TAYLOR, Mary Elizabeth (nee Markham). Born February 16, 1938. Passed away on February 11, 2023. With broken hearts we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth Taylor (nee Markham) of Papakura. Surrounded by her family Mary passed away peacefully in Lara Australia. The loss of the heart and soul of our family will leave a void that nothing will ever fill. Mary was born to James Gabriel Markham and Kathleen Markham (née Finn) from Ararimu. She was the 6th of 10 Children. 6 have passed prior, brothers Johnny ,Terry, Jim and sisters Leone, Anne and Colleen. She will be missed by her sisters, Kath, Joan and Marg. Mary was a supportive wife to Hone (John) Taylor and a loving dedicated Mother to David, Anne-Maree (Aree) and Gregory. She was the most extraordinary loving grandmother to Jason, Shanla, Abraham, Oriana, Hayley, Tenielle, Trinity, Lakyn, and adored great grandmother and great-great grandmother. A Rosary will be held Monday 27th February, 7pm at St Mary's Catholic Church Papakura. Requiem Mass will be Tuesday 28th February, 11am at St Mary's. Burial at Ararimu Cemetery 1:30pm, followed by a Wake at Ararimu hall.
