Mary SLAUGHTER Obituary

Slaughter, Mary Elizabeth (Nee Hewitt). Passed away unexpectedly on 30 July 2025. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Glenn. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Daniel and Ashley; Phillip and Lydia; Benjamin and Ashley; and Grace. Adored Grandma of Maia, Evie, Nico, Asaph and Dustin. Much-loved daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, aunty, and friend to so many. She will be dearly missed. A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at Lamb & Hayward, Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Friday, 8 August, at 2.00 pm. An informal memorial and afternoon tea will also take place at 3.00 pm on Sunday, 17 August, at Orewa Baptist Church, Auckland. Flowers may be sent to Lamb & Hayward, Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, prior to the service. All welcome.
