Mary RAWLINSON Obituary

RAWLINSON, Mary. Died peacefully on 8 October 2013 at the grand age of 96 years. Treasured mum and role model to Catherine and Angela, darling wife of the late Leo, precious Nana of David and Maria and loved mother- in-law of the late Jim Joyce. A pioneer in education, a lady of great faith and a friend to many. Mary will be at home with her family until Tuesday evening 15 October. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 16 October at 11am at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 510 Riddell Road, Glendowie. Rosary on Tuesday evening 15 October 7.30pm in the same venue. Special thanks to the Nurses and staff at Selwyn Oaks Papakura for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations posted to: St Josephs Cluney Convent, 74 Victoria Avenue, Remuera.

Dear Catherine and Angela a kind friend has let me know that your mother has passed away. She was a dear friend and colleagues of my father Bill Benton and I have nothing but fond memories of her kindness when Dad died.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
