Mary KEENAN Obituary
KEENAN, Mary (nee MacDuff). Born April 12, 1933. Passed away peacefully at Carnarvon Hospital on July 6, 2022 at 89 years of age. Beloved Mother and Mother-in-law to Sue and Greg McDermott, loving Nana to Andrea, Natalie and Chris, adored GG to Tilly. Private service to be held at Salvation Army New Lynn Corps. Rest peacefully with Perry (late husband) and Gill (late daughter). Mary will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

My husband Francis & I were at New Lynn Salvation Army from 2010 to 2016, then we moved to Levin. Mary was a very special friend who took a great interest in our grandchildren, Emily & Lucy. Each time their birthday came round, Mary would have a parcel for them - usually with a lovely item of clothing. We had many conversations about her move from Green Bay to be closer to family. She just loved Andrea & Natalie and loved going away with them. We have visited Mary several times since we moved away from Auckland. She will be dearly missed in your family, Sue. We feel so privileged to have known your Mum. God bless you all through your loss.
