HARRIS, Mary (nee Throll). On 13 June 2012. Dearly beloved and cherished wife of Leslie, loved mother of Mary, Dennis and the late Yvonne and Tony. Loved sister of Jessie, Anne, Stephen, Irene Tony and Betty, grandmother of Paul, Barbara, Maxine, Philip, Richard and Matthew, and their families. Talented Little Songbird. "the Scottish Nightingale" She lived for her music. Now at rest in her 90th year. Thank you my darling Mary for your love and companionship and immensely enhancing my life and introducing me to the world of wonderfully talented show people. "There's no business like show business". I will love you forever, forget you never. You were a special addition to humanity who has left her mark. A celebration of Mary's life will be held in the Main Chapel of the Morrison Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive Henderson on Thursday 21 June at 12.30pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Stroke Foundation (Northern Division), PO Box 65-371 Mairangi Bay Auckland 0754 would be appreciated. All communications to the Harris Family C/- the above Funeral Home.

Here's other family of Mary (Throll) Harris, from the 1970's. Winifred and Bernie Pullinger visited me and my family over in Glasgow, Scotland in the 1970's when I was still at Primary school, and Tommy and Sadie Throll also from New Zealand, were there too!

In loving memory of Mary Throll, she visited us with her husband Leslie back in 1994-1995 to Cumbernauld and Glasgow at the time, we made Mary and Leslie very welcome in our homes and talked about her Uncles and relatives from Glasgow including Sarah Gallagher - who was born Sadie Throll with her sister Helen and brother Tommy Throll, Helen Throll got married and had two sons, Max and Tom McLean... As for Tommy Throll - he got married to a Sadie, who had Winifred and another daughter! When mary and Leslie visited us at the time, she mentioned a William Throll. Sadie / Sarah Throll married a Daniel Gallagher and had two kids, mu mother Anne / Nancy Gallagher & John Gallagher! My mum married a John Rennie and had me! Again, Our thoughts here in Glasgow, and in Cumbernauld, Scotland are with Les & family. Kind regards, john Rennie. x x x

So sorry to hear about Mary Throll in Auckland, New Zealand... I'm John Rennie from Glasgow in Scotland! My mother and my Uncle John Gallagher were cousins, related to Mary Throll, she visited us with her husband Leslie back in 1994-1995 to Cumbernauld and Glasgow at the time, we made Mary and Leslie very welcome in our homes and talked about her Uncles and relatives from Glasgow including Sarah gallagher, and Winifred and Bernie Pullinger from Christchurch, New Zealand at the time, who we have lost touch with?
