Mary GAINSFORD Obituary

To Mary´s family and Gwen I was sorry to read that another of my long lost friends had died. I lost touch after sharing time together before my Ray died when we visited Rotorua. I well remember Mary and Gwen when we all worked in the diet department. Mary and I shared the news of our young families mostly by post over the years and there is one family story of ours relating to a visit we made to Rotorua when Gibby and she were building the house on Old Taupo rd with Margaret and Joe Brady. Mary was always one of those friends that although we would not see each other for years when we met again it would be as if no time had passed. I will miss not being able to do that again. I have treasured the wedding dress Mrs Jordan made for me which until recently graced a wall in a spare bedroom it is still beautiful. My best thoughts are with you all today.

Sincerest sympathy and love.Remember many wonderful times from 63 years ago till recently.Mary was so supportive in all we did.Had a heart of gold.Always had baking on the table.Will never forget her sound advice and all the love we shared.Rest peacefully our dear friend
