FOX, Sister Mary Gertrude. O.P. Much loved member of Aotearoa NZ Dominican Sisters. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Calvary Hospital, on Saturday September 3, 2016. Loved daughter of the late John and Mary Fox, and sister of Patrick, Alice, Eileen Hart and Sister M Ceslaus OP (all deceased). Respected teacher of her many ex pupils. In the 77th year of her Religious Profession. R.I.P. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Mary's Basilica, Tyne Street, Invercargill, at 11 am, on Wednesday September 7. The funeral then leaving for the Eastern Cemetery. Vigil Rosary will be prayed at Calvary Hospital, 215 Centre Street, 7pm on Tuesday September 6.
