BURGESS, Mary Elizabeth (Bear). Passed peacefully at home on the 23rd of January, aged 97, surrounded by her loving family. A loved and adored mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. Renowned for her kindness, warmth and grace. A lover of the simple things: poetry, music, flowers, friends and family. Remembered above all for her desire to always put others first. Bear, we miss you greatly and we are so lucky to have had you. Goodnight and God bless.
