My dear, wonderful Helen. I cannot imagine a world without you in it. Your wisdom, wit, and strong views always entertained me and kept me sane as I went through my illness. My calendar seems empty now without any entries blocking out time for our visits. Your light shone so brightly and I miss you terribly. The belly-aching laughter we shared will be forever etched in my memory and in my heart. My thoughts are with Howard and the family whom I know will be feeling your loss deeply.

Mary - or as we knew her, as Our Helen, was our friend, saviour and lovely friend, who looked after us and helped us love New Zealand and made us so welcome, since 1975.
Helen looked after Viv at work, when she joined Federated Farmers and our families have remained firm friends over all those years and we have stayed and travelled to each other’s home, on many occasions and we were planning our next visit, but Covid got in the way.
All of our family are shocked and broken hearted, but we shall have so many fond memories and remember Our Helen, for being such a lovely lady.
With all our love to Howard and family, from Vivien & Luke Egan, Vicki - Jessica, Isabella, Paul & Emily - Thomas, Oliver & William.
We shall be thinking of you all on Monday, even though we are 12500 miles away.
Vivien & Luke Egan. XXXX
