Martie WALLBRIDGE Obituary

Wallbridge, Martie Elizabeth May. Passed away so peacefully on 12 October 2025 aged 90. Now in God's loving care. Dearly loved wife of John for 65 years. Mother of David and Cynthia, Ian and Helen. Wonderful and adored Granny of Cheryl and Carlin, Chantelle, Liam and Sharnye, Luke and Mariecel, and Matthew. Excited Great Grandmother of Lachlan and Alfred. Service to be held at Glendowie Presbyterian Church, 127 Riddell Road, Glendowie, Auckland at 10.45 AM Saturday 1 November followed by refreshments, then family burial at 2.00 PM at Purewa Cemetery. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful Enliven Home Care Team, St Andrews Dove Wing, and Grace Joel Hospital staff for their tender care and loving support.

Dear John I was so sorry to read of Martie´s passing this morning. I know the last years have been difficult for you both as her health declined. In my mind she was a very special person , kind , generous in her attitude always open and friendly and engaged with others. I had huge respect for her and I´m sure all who knew her feel the same.
I know part of her strength and personality came from a strong faith and a loving surrounding family special husband- John
