Marlene HANCOCK Obituary

Hancock, Marlene Christine (Nee Honeybone). Formerly of Petone, ?taki, Auckland, Queenstown, Milford Track, and Paihia, passed peacefully at age 86, at home on April 8th 2026. A wonderful, adventurous, and love-filled life, shared for 69 years with her devoted husband and best friend, Brian Hancock. Proud mother of Sharon, Christine, Craig, and Scott. Cherished grandmother of 10 amazing grandchildren and 14 beautiful great-grandchildren. Adored daughter of the late Charlie and Marjory Honeybone. A service will be held at Bay of Islands Yacht Club (Waitangi) on Wednesday 15th April at 11am.

So sorry Brian fond memories of you both and you playing the sax at Paraparaumu. Marlene was wonderful and was very popular. I left Otaki in 1960, so it has been a long time.
