My dear friend for over 48years, we never missed a birthday card or xmas card to each other for all these years, except this xmas, when I didn't receive one from you, I was thinking about you, so you were in my thoughts when you passed over, I will always treasure the memories we shared together when you were my bridesmaid, with love I will remember you. Marlene, twice in my life I had the pleasure of crossing paths with you, and twice it was a real treat. Such a funny lady, with a very dry sense of humour, but a massive capacity to love. All those who had the chance to meet you have been blessed. Take care, where ever you are, and remember to look in on your daughter from time to time, coz she'll need it. x

GRIFFITH, Marlene. Our beautiful Mum and Nan, we are devastated at our loss, yet grateful we got to be with you and that your suffering has now ended. "God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his Arms around you and whispered "Come to Me". With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away, and although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best." We now have two angels watching over us. Love you to the moon and back Nan. Jillinda, Brice, Darland, Bailey, Ryan and Michelle.
