Marlene Burness Obituary

BURNESS, Marlene Joyce (Nee Atkins). Passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday 7th December 2010 surrounded by family. Aged 55 years. Treasured wife of Grant for 27 years. Loving mother of daughters Jasmin and Aimee. Youngest sister of Les, Neville and Colleen. A celebration of Marlene's life will be held at the Hamilton Park Crematorium Chapel, Morrinsville Road, Newstead, on Monday 13th December at 11.00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Arthritis Foundation may be posted to PO Box 9109 Hamilton or left in the Chapel foyer. All communications to the 'Burness Family' c/- Pellows Funeral Directors and Advisors, 138 Grey Street, Hamilton. FDANZ.

Marlene, you have helped me for 9 years and I am scared to go on without you, but you taught me how to get through the
toughest times, times like this time. I feel the word death is like an ending, but for me it means i'm on my own, and I want you to know you are still here pointing me in the right direction. I have to let
go of you now and be strong knowing Marlene will be watching and guiding me. You Marlene are an amazing person and will never be out of my life or heart. I miss you so much and you will always have a special part in my heart for you. Vicki Small

BURNESS, Marlene. Our dearest best friend passed suddenly 7 December too soon. Thank you for so many fun times together. Lotsa lovely memories. Terribly missed. Love Bill, Linda, Janine, Dave and girls.
