So shocked to just learn of Mark's passing. He was an amazing guy - a great leader, mentor and friend. Our thoughts are with Tracy and family.

Just heard about Marks passing, so sad what a great man and a mentor to those around him. Fondest memories of working alongside this great man

I am shocked saddened and dismayed to learn of Marks passing
I statted at wanganui high on the same day as Mark some twenty years ago and held him in the highest regard. He did so much for the school and me ..I will always be grateful. So many memories.

I was really sad when I heard of Marks passing. He was a superb colleague at Wanganui High School. Such an inspiration to us all. He will be sadly missed but will be remembered fondly for ever. RIP

It is with real sadness to hear of Quig's passing away. I was at PE school in Otago with him and Tracy and always enjoyed his company and over the years catching up with you both at volleyball tourneys. My thoughts are with his family at this sad time. Victor Malbon

Sorry to hear about Mark. I was at college with him and he was quite quiet there! Sounds like he turned into a great fun person who gathered respect from all. Sincere Sympathy to your family. RIP

Great HoD of PE at Wanganui HS. Re-invigorated rugby at the school. There was a 1st XV v Staff (+others) game by way of a farewell. I subbed off at half time with a cracked rib! A big loss to the teaching profession, you will never know how much you have impacted young lives over the years. Rest in Peace, Mark.

QUIGLEY, Mark Passed away on 10-03-2016. Highly respected friend and colleague who made a significant impact on education, particularly in our school community. We were lucky enough to have Mark at Orewa College for 16 and a half years. His contribution to our school, staff and students was immense and inspiring.
