MARSTERS, Mark Richard Carl (also known by Richard). Born 30 October 1932. Slipped away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday morning 6 May 2025. He fought a good fight till the end and will be sadly missed by everyone. Beloved Husband to his late wife and sweetheart Cathy Marsters (née Paki). Loved Father and Father in law of Ned, Taupaki and Joyce, Heather and Basil. Cherished Grandfather (Papa) to Cherise, Shane, Opalani, Huia, Xavier and Patrick. Great Grandfather (GG Papa) to Leia, Manaia, Canaan, Taika and Malakai. Funeral Details- Open casket viewing was held Sunday 11 May 2025. 9am -12pm at Tipene Funerals, 31 Paramount Drive, Henderson followed by 2-4pm Family Service. The Funeral Service was held at Manukau "Memorial Gardens" Chapel, 361 Puhunui Road, Wiri, Tuesday 13th May 2025 at 11am followed by burial beside his sweetheart Cathy at Manukau Cemetery. Refreshments and mix 'n mingle after burial at Bob White Reception Lounge adjacent to Chapel. Family and friends overseas or around Aotearoa, who were unable to attend the Sunday Family Service or Tuesday's Funeral Service.
