Mark MARKHOLM Obituary

MARKHOLM, Mark Graham (Graham) At Tauranga Hospital ICU on November 24th 2014, with family members by his side; in his 83rd year. Dearly beloved husband of Doreen. Loved Dad of Sonia and Dennis, Mark (deceased), Douglas, Tania and Philip Lindsey, Maria and Terrence Gillard, and Ivan. Proud Grandad of Shane, Jessica, Nicola, Janelle, Korben, Tom, Bridget, and Sammy; and Great Grandad of Blake, Tyler, James, Xzavier, and Kortez. Loved brother of Warren (deceased), Pauline, Ross (Canada), and Carol. A celebration of Graham's life will be held at Tauranga Yacht Club, 90 Keith Allen Drive (at the very end of the drive), Sulphur Point Tauranga on Friday November 28th at 1pm. "Captain's Table" (formal) dress. Heartfelt thanks to all the BOPDHB "family" - medical, surgical, and the nursing angels - for your compassionate, respectful care for our whole family during Dad's journey. In lieu of flowers donations may be left at the service for a memorial seat to be placed in the Tauranga Hospital Rooftop Garden. i first meet graham in 1981 and he became a great father inlaw . he taught me alot about life and the hands on aproach . i help him when he built his boats and i found him to be the best teacher to show how to build things . may you rest in peace i will take the knowledge n respect he taught me and carry it on . you will be in my heart n prays forever .

Graham was a larger than life character that took life by the horns head on with no fear, forged his own path and wasn't a follower. The short time I spent under your guidance and support left a huge impression and you are missed.
