Mark HILL Obituary

HILL, Mark Christopher. It is with great sadness that Mark's family announce his passing. Beloved husband of Jen for 49 years and devoted dad of Stephen and Caroline. Cherished Poppy of Elliot, Zach and Grace. A kind and gentle soul, Mark was known for his love of rugby, cricket, a good beer and the joy he found in his family. His warmth, devotion and generosity to his loved ones touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and his many great friends. A service to celebrate Mark's life will be held at Somervell Presbyterian Church, 497 Remuera Road, Remuera on Friday 13 September at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's name to the Neurological Foundation neurological.org.nz/website-donation would be gratefully received.

To our darling forever friend Marky. Honestly can't believe you are gone. You have shown such amazing dignity and courage in the last few years battling your beast of an illness.
We have so many joyous and funny memories of very happy times spent together over our 50 odd years of friendship. All the events, parties, celebrations that we shared with you.
It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to call you our friend.
You will be missed more than words can say darling.
