Mark HANLEY Obituary

HANLEY, Mark John Christopher. Born April 28, 1970. Passed away on May 6, 2020. Mark, 50 years old, died peacefully surrounded by love after a long brave battle with cancer. Dearly loved son of John and Aileen. A wonderful brother to Michael, Peter and Belinda. Mark was a highly talented gentle giant with a big joyful heart, and, a huge number of friends. A celebration of Mark's incredible life will occur in Auckland in the near future.

Mark has undoubtedly left an indelible etching on so many people over the years but none moreso than you. Please know you are surrounded by so much love. May all your wonderful memories carry you through this, and bring you plenty of smiles and the odd chuckle as you look back on his life. Mark, you are fondly remembered by us both. A great friend and mentor to our son David while he was in London and back home in New Zealand. You will be sadly missed by your many friends, family and colleagues. Rest in peace now.
