Hi Kathy, it had been many years since I saw you guys but when I heard about this it hit hard. I truly know how hard this is, losing someone close in such a sudden way - just know that, whatever your beliefs, Mark is fine now and it is you and your family that need the love and support; don't forget to look after you. I have such wonderful memories from the Portland Crescent and Vivian Street flats a million years ago. Take care, and sincere condolences, David Collinge.

I first met Mark while living in Auckland and at the very start of my career in the financial services industry. It was a shock to hear of the sad news of his tragic accident. My condolences to Mark's family and friends

Freckles, such a tragedy that you are gone
You, proud and loving Husband, Father, family man, industry icon and friend to so many.
Mentor, bloody good mate to all those who knew you, respected by all.
A real champion of our ever changing always challenging industry, leader with infinite empathy and compassion.
Sadly, no more that sharp wit and cheeky smile but who you were, what you stood for, what you meant to us shall remain a part of us all forever.

Until next time, travel well dear friend

Love and sincere condolences to Kathy and family.

I am still shaking my head in sad disbelief on hearing the news of Mark's tragic and sudden death.

Dear Kathy and family my heart goes out to you at this time.

It has been many years since I worked with 'Freckles' at AMP Greenlane Office but I will always remember him with much fondness. Mark was always passionate about life, his work and his family and I absolutely adored his sharp and witty sense of humour. Mark was liked and respected by many people and he will be truly missed.

Mark "Freckles"
- Who's early morning starts/chats we both shared/enjoyed at The Strand, Takapuna will never be forgotten
-Who I literally "bumped into" on the steps of St Peters, Rome (along with his lovely wife Kathy)
- Who cut short his own conference in Taupo to attend my own retirement function in Auckland
-Who enjoyed & loved Kinloch even more than myself & family
-Who still had so much to offer, but tragically taken far too soon
-R.I.P Mark
- To Kathy and Family, my thoughts, condolences and love go out to you

Freckles I will miss our quiet industry chats and the many giggles over the super sillious times spanning many years. To not just be in the game for so many years but relentlessly contribute with integrity and realism can only be admired. Your depature like so many things you did was ahead of your time and the loss is felt widely and deeply. To Kathy and family our thoughts are with you.

Dear Kathy and family
I had the privilege of knowing Mark under the Asteron banner for many years with him at the helm.
There are many wonderful conference trips that we shared together where we were able to meet you Kathy and to see the world.
We are blessed to have people to share our lives with and Mark was a part of my life as an adviser for many years.
Our lives are made up of fond memories that no-one can take away from us.
Kathy, you have a life time of them to help you through this period as your family and friends gather around.
Our sincere sympathy. May God bless you and keep you strong.
Kind Regards Clive & Joy
