Mark BOWEN Obituary

I'm so sorry to post this so late. My name is Colm Byrne. I am from Ireland but lived in Whangarei from aged 5 to 10 or so. I went to school with Mark and spent many nights staying over with him and his family and remember with such fondness walks up the hill, playing with kittens under the house, midnight feasts and daring each other to touch electric fences. I looked him up online to send an email to say hello and ask if he remembered me. I'm so sorry to read about his passing and send so instead love across the oceans to his family. I hope this reaches someone and they feel my love.Colm

All of his Canadian extended family members were deeply saddened by the untimely passing of our dear Liz's brother in law and offer our condolences to the Bowen family.

I am very saddened to hear of Marks sudden passing. I worked with Mark at Westpac, he was so helpful when I was learning the BB ropes. He always had a smile and a joke or two.
