To an important part of my life and a highly valued and admired friend. From camping, hiking, music and mucking in around in boats through school we went on to Grafton Hall and our early days working and being grown ups with wine, food and great chats. I´m so sorry Mark has left us and my heart goes out to Jill, Tony, Cath & Felix and their families. Thanks to Jonny and Craig and his many other wonderful friends for looking out for him. I´m so sorry I won´t be there today to say good bye and a big hug to my school friends who will be there. Ashley and John

Mark was at Grafton Hall while studying at Uni of Auckland. He was intense, passionate and focused in everything he did, from his triathlons, to even a casual conversation.

The world has lost a wonderful human being. A consummate professional, much loved father and partner, brother, uncle, son, colleague, friend and lover of the great outdoors. My thoughts, deepest condolences, love and aroha go out to Mark's family and the Seqel team at this very sad time.

We´re devastated to hear the news. He was a Super-Hero in plain clothes. We´ve fished the T.T., Ngaruroro, Mohaka together and many nameless rivers. We´ve drunk countless wonderful bottles and he was the best of people. I loved him for his single-minded focus, keen intellect, love and generosity! His amazing spirit, love for quirky art and funky T-Shirts. I was so-looking fwd to our next dinner together. RIP my great friend.
Thanks to all those who knew he was struggling and supported him.

Had the privilege of working with Mark. A great recruiter, great outdoors man, and all around good person. I will miss our discussions. .

This is so sad and our hearts go out to everyone.
We have so many memories of the Mark that we cherish, especially the unique experience of being helicoptered in to the Mohaka Hilton to celebrate his wedding and watching enviously as the three old school friends loaded fishing gear, rifles and their partners into rubber rafts for a multi day shared honeymoon to the sea!
A lateral thinker that we will miss so much.

One of the good ones. He recruited me a great team in the 90s for Xtra, and we discovered we had a common love of the outdoors. He would ring with an exciting hunting opportunity every now and then. Sadly I couldn't go on the last one. I remember his generosity in providing advice and guidance and his wry sense of humour. My thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.

So terribly sad to hear this news. Mark was such a kind and generous human and wise counsel. I remember he supported me and humoured me on my first triathlon (despite my non-athleticism!) and kept such a positive attitude every time I have reconnected with him since. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
