Marjorie HOLMES Obituary

HOLMES, Marjorie. passed away on Sunday the 4th of August 2024 in her 97th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Walter Holmes. Loved mother of Lynda and Christopher (deceased). Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Saints Peter and Paul Church, Puhoi on Friday 9th of August at 11.30am, followed by private cremation.

Good memories of delicious fish and chips in the early 60s when my family had the book shop next to your takeaway shop. Friday night treat, and if I remember rightly sometimes they used pink paper to wrap the fish and chips in. I drive past this block of shops often and it's still a takeaway shop!

HOLMES, Marjorie. Passed away peacefully at Warkworth Hospital, August 4, 2024. Mother of Lynda and the late Christopher. A Funeral in commemoration of Marjorie's life will be held at a later date. Grateful thanks to all the staff at Warkworth Hospital for their care and kindness.
