My dear neighbour across the landing for 18 years at Kohi..longest residents there..how sad this is. The beautiful linens, the elegant white and grey ensembles, the amazing flower arrangements, our chats re travel, laughing out loud seeing each other totally unexpected in seats next to each other in Business Class - her enroute to Paris, me to Rome - neither even knew the other had closed their door at about the same time to head to the airport! Marjorie - you were an inspiration showing that adventure and style go hand in hand to the very end. Thank you for the laughs and sharing the sorts of chats independent women have. My love to all the family - Nicola at No 11

We are so sorry that Marjorie has died, with many happy memories from earlier years.
After being mates with Max since Primary school we were Married a month apart 60 years ago and our families grew up at the same time with meals and sleepovers together.
As our Children and Grandchildren formed their own interests we have not maintained the same contact but they were always in our thoughts.
Our sincere condolences to Michol, Craig and families and Ruve.

I am so sad to hear of Marjorie's passing. I I will always remember her warmth and generosity and how she and Max were so welcoming and supportive that I truly felt like I had a second home away from home at Mellon's Bay. And it was like having my own personal ATM too because she would always "buy" my U.S. dollars, usually insisting on paying a premium for them.

My thoughts are with Michol & Tony and Craig & Anna and their families, with hopes that fond memories of the love and laughs Marjorie brought to their lives will carry them through this difficult time.

With love and hugs,

I was saddened to hear the news of Marjorie's passing.
I didn't know her for a long time but we would meet often at the steps to the water for a swim when the weather was nice. I was always amazed how she would arrive with her hair and makeup perfect, enjoy her time in the water and leave the same way.
I will miss her cheerful company on my daily trip into the water when summer comes again.

Time passes and families lose touch but I have never forgotten my Dads cousins and often thought about you.

I first met Margorie 40 years ago as a awkward teenager, and was struck by her vivacity and how kind and gracious a host she was.

I shall miss her and am deeply sorry for the family's loss.
