STEPHEN-SMITH, Marilyn Winifred May (formerly Smith, nee Stayte). Passed away peacefully at Middlemore Hospital on 16 July 2025. Loved husband of the late Britt Stephen-Smith and Peter Smith. Loved Mum of Lisa Campbell and Michael Smith. Mum-in-law of Scott Campbell. Loved Nana of Lucy and Ben Du Chateau. Special and loved Nan Nan of Millah and Maxy Du Chateau. Sister of Nancy and Brian Soper and Lois and John Spooner. Aunty Marilyn of Joanne and Brent Soper; Kim, Ricky and Karen Symon and their families. Stepmother to Fraser Stephen-Smith (England) and Claudine Anderson (Australia) and their families. A celebration of Marilyn's life will be held on Monday 21 July 2025 at 1.30 pm at Howick Funeral Home, 35 Wellington Street, Howick. Thank you to the wonderful staff of Ward 35 at Middlemore Hospital who gave Mum such wonderful care in her last 2 weeks and the Nursing staff at the Care Home of Edgewater Village who looked after her for the last 2 years.
