Marilyn Powell Obituary

Marilyn Kapp Powell died suddenly on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, in Naples, Fla. Marilyn was a longtime employee of the United Steelworkers of America. Surviving are her loving husband of 45 years, Charles J. Powell; brother, Robert (Pat) Kapp; sister, Linda Murray; mother-in-law, Anna Powell; sisters-in-law, Patricia Brown and Diane Kapp Schmidt, and numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved mother and father, Florence and Elmer Kapp, and brother Elmer Jr. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in St. John Capistran Church, 1610 McMillan Road, Upper St. Clair. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 777 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15235 or the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
