Marie Hansen Obituary

HANSEN, Marie Joyce. 1923 - 2011. On 31st May 2011, passed away peacefully at Puriri Court Hospital with her family by her side aged 88. Loving wife of the late Ivan and loved mother and mother-in-law of Lyn and Michael Cowx, Glenys and Leo Faherty, Delwyn and Alan Luke and Daryl and Angela Hansen. Loved nana of Michael and Kylie Fairley, Lana and Iain Power, Ivan and Pare Gordon, Kelly Roberts, Malaina and Wayne Morris, Antiny Lowe, Tasha Sheldon and Tyana Hansen. Loved nan nan of Demi, Lacey, Brookly, Shauna, Huia, Ngakau, Chanel, Jaden, Kayzia, Kiani, Ashleigh, Ethan, Brayden and Devan. Much loved surrogate mum and nana of Lesley, John, Cherie, Mahara, Shannon, Iwi, Jodi, Quest, Tremein, Calais, Lyric, Kobi and Kaiman. Her wait is over now. She has gone to be with the love of her life. Dad look after her, she was one in a million. We will always miss you mum but we know you are happy now. A service for Marie will be held in the Chapel of Morris & Morris Funerals (entrance 17 Western Hills Drive) Whau Valley Whangarei at 11.00am on Friday 3 June 2011 to be followed by Committal at Maunu Crematorium, Cemetery Road Maunu Whangarei.
