Marian was a very loved Aunt and great-aunt; we were all her favourites! Ourselves, Samuel, Sarah, and Adam, were so blessed to have you in our lives. I will miss our conversations and sense of humour. Thank you for all you did for us and your unconditional love. Rest in Peace.

Rest in peace Marion

Marian and I, with Gloria and Alison shared a cabin on the Wanganella, Orion and Ruahine in 1961 travelling right around the world. We did so many things together and had so much fun. That four girls, cooped up in such a small area, got on so well for so long, was amazing. There was never a cross word. I spoke to Marian recently and she sounded just the same as she did all those years ago. So sad to hear she has passed away. Wonderful memories. Rest in peace our dear friend.

Marian was a lovely and kind Aunty to us all.
She had a fun sense of humour and entertaining conversations.

Our neighbour for 30 years. And a client for even more. Always a smile and a wave. Marion loved her cats and saved so many.

Miss Cleary made a huge difference to my life. I left school in 1977 able to type at 100wpm+ thanks to her....and I still do. The skill gave me confidence and opened a lot of doors along the way. In addition to being a great teacher she was always lovely and kind. I always think of her fondly.

CLEARY, Marian Monica. Born 2nd May 1935 (Auckland). Passed away suddenly on Thursday, 12th June 2025, aged 90. Loved Sister of Noel Michael Cleary and Sister-in- law of Josephine Erin Cleary (nee FitzPatrick). Beloved Aunt of Noel and Josephine's children; Michael (Deceased) and Carla; Josefa and Kevin; Kathleen and Ian; Peter and Alison; Brigid and Simon; Patrick and Carol; Alison; Sabina and Paul; Brendan (Deceased); Gerard; Teresa and Neil; Sean and Ana. Loved Great Aunt of 26 nephews and nieces and loved Great-Great Aunt of 16 nephews and nieces. Marian will be fondly remembered by us all. May she rest in peace.
