BESSEM, Maria Hermina (nee Velzen). Peacefully on 30 August 2011 at Waitakere Hospital aged 74 years. Dearly loved Ma of Michiel and Sharon, Irene and Sonja, Wouter, Steven and Allison. Loved Oma of Mariah, Aidan; Eleanor, Tori, Rose; Lance and Melissa; Aaron and Nikki. Great-grandmother to Shylah. A service for Maria will be held at the Main Chapel of the Morrison Funeral Home, 220 Universal Dr, Henderson on Monday 5 September 2011 at 3.00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Parkinson Society Auckland Inc. PO Box 16-238, Sandringham 1351.

BESSEM, Maria Hermina. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 30 August 2011. Beloved mother and mother- in-law of Michiel and Sharon. Much loved Oma to Mariah and Aidan. A full life lived on your own terms, even when the body was not willing, your strength and resolve will inspire us always. Your love for us will forever be remembered. At peace now in heaven, enjoying your crosswords and chocolates.

BESSEM, Maria. We will miss your wonderful sense of humour and wit. We came to know you before the years before you were ill. Your greatest legacy would be the wonderful children you have raised, and your grandchildren; I know how proud you were of them all. Sadly missed. With love Met liefde. Irene en Angela.
