Margaret TRIM Obituary

TRIM, Margaret Ethel (nee Curtis). Passed away peacefully on 16th December 2025 at Cairnfield House, after a long illness. Loved Mother of Phillip, Colin, Esther, Bernie, and David. Treasured Grannie to all her grand and great grandchildren. A service for Margaret will be held at the Chapel of Morris and Morris Funerals (entrance 17 Western Hills Drive) Whau Valley, Whangarei at 1pm on Saturday 20th December 2025 followed by interment at Maunu Cemetery. Many thanks to the staff of Cairnfield House and Tranquility Bay for their excellent care. All communications to the Trim Family c/- P.O. Box 8043, Kensington, Whangarei 0145.

Margaret is remembered for her wonderful hospitality and love of music - a fantastic violinist. I remember the Roly Poly pudding she made when she invited me for dinner one night in Kamo - I'd never had that before! And she showed how to iron a man's shirt quickly and easily - sadly I have forgotten that method! Our love and sympathies to all the family.

I´ll forever remember the worries Margerate you told me of Bernie and the dishes, firing them out the window, you loved your family deeply, I will surely miss you , and will forever hold onto your beautiful painting much love and hugs to your family at this time
