To the Morrison Family,
It is with sadness we read the passing of your Mother Margaret. Remembering her in Hawera she was loved by everyone who knew her and so kind to me as your baby sitter, Moire our little flower girl.
Our sympathy to you all Jill and Peter Robertson Omokoroa

Mum attended Otago Girls High School from 1938-1942, in 1942 becoming Head Girl. In October 2021 we visited the school for what would have been its 150th Jubilee. Mum had a wonderful time, including being interviewed by the Otago Daily Times: https://www.odt.co.nz/news/dunedin/words-wise-girls (link still available).
Because of the nurturing and support received from OGHS as a young girl, for our Mum the lines between teaching and love remained ever blurred.
