Margaret McCarthy Obituary

McCARTHY, Margaret Gladys. Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday 16 September 2011 at St Catherine's Rest Home, Ponsonby. A devout Catholic, she was 83 years old. Aunty Margaret was very much loved by her nephew Gregory, and his wife Ginny and her 3 great-nephews, Andrew, Fraser and Cameron, along with her extended family of Andrew, Sunayana, Katy and Jared. She was the last of her family and will now join her parents and 2 brothers and a sister in peace with God. She will be sadly missed, especially at Christmas time. You will always be in our hearts and you will never be forgotten. Our sincere appreciation goes out to Sandra and the staff at St Catherine's for the special care of our aunt. A Rosary will be held for her at St Therese Catholic Church, 463 Mt Albert Road, Three Kings on Wednesday 21 September at 6pm. Aunty Margaret's Funeral and Mass will b held the next day at the same location at 10.30am. She is to be buried at Waikumete Cemetery. May She Rest In Peace.
