Margaret MAYERS Obituary

MAYERS, Margaret Isabel. Passed away surrounded by the love of her family on 16th April 2026 at Arvida Cascades, Hamilton. Reunited with her beloved Dick (Richard). Loved mother of Megan and Trevor, and Richard. Loved 'G Ma' of Kathleen and Josh, Sean, Ash, and Zara. Very much loved 'GG' of Alexander. "Cherry bye mum, rest in love." Our sincere thanks to the staff of OPR Ward 3 Waikato Hospital and everyone at Arvida Cascade Hamilton for their care. A service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held in the Kowhai Chapel, Fountains Funerals, 35 Wood Street Papakura on Tuesday 21st April at 2pm.

Loved sister-in-law of the late Bob and Joan Mayers and the late Susan and Douglas Hope. Aunt of John, Philip, Joanne, Debbie and Michelle and great-aunt to their families.

Margaret spent much of her life dedicated to nursing, caring for others with skill and practical kindness.

She will be missed and remembered with respect.
