INGLIS, Margaret Alice (nee Landels). Centenarian, Matriarch and Guardian. Margaret passed suddenly Saturday, August 31, 2024 at McKenzie Healthcare, Geraldine, Dearly beloved wife of the late Evan Inglis of Dunedin. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Kay and Bob (Geraldine) and Janet and Alex (Taupo). Beloved and respected nanny of grandchildren Belinda, Rebecca, Ricky, Stephen and David, plus their partners Pete, Phil, Sharon and Ash. Much loved great grandmother to Kate and Sarah and great great nanny to Heidi and Tommy. Beloved Aunty Marg to all her nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Margaret will take place at the Cashmere Presbyterian Church in Dyers Pass Road, Christchurch, on Thursday, September 12, at 1.30pm Any messages to Geraldine Funeral Services, 186 Talbot Street, Geraldine 7930. My mother (Brenda Bannehr) and I spent many happy hours with Margaret over the years playing Bridge and enjoying conversations together.
Margaret was a lovely person and we valued the time we spent with Margaret.
