Margaret HOPE-EDE Obituary

HOPE-EDE, Margaret Edith (Peg). Passed away peacefully, 11 November 2017 aged 90. Caring, generous, courageous and resolute, we are blessed that you stayed in our lives for so long. Greatly missed by your loving family Grant, Dianne, Viv, Norma, Matt, Emma, Rob, Kate, Miller, Lila, Jimmy. A special thanks to St John's, North Shore Hospital and Northbridge Rest Home. A celebration of Peg's life will be held Dil's North Harbour Chapel, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany. All communications to the Hope- Ede family c/- 17 McBreen Avenue, Northcote, Auckland 0627.

The present and past members of Lake Pupuke Tennis Club where Peg and her family played tennis for many years are saddened by her passing. Peg made many friendships through the club and made many contributions to it on and off the courts. She was much loved by all her met her and her kindness was evident to all. She was made a life member of the club many years ago and still came to mid-week morning tennis and the AGM's until her failing health preventing her attending in recent years. Peg's name is on Honours Boards at the club for her tennis and her other contributions. Rest in Peace Peg.
