I have great memories of Margaret and Ken who took me from Taumarunui to Kamo for my first fishing expedition. We stayed at a place accessible only via the beach.
Margaret was in our hockey rep teams for King Country and Waikato and was a fantastic team mate.
She will always be in my mind - until we eventually catch up again.

A lot of time has passed but memories of Margaret as a work colleague at F C House & Co in Taumarunui came flooding back when I saw this notice. Work was great there. I remember Margaret Being picked up by Ken every night in his little Morris, l think it was. Good memories from those days.

Happy lifetime memories in Taumarunui include the Caskey family who lived up Ngatai Street from our house. There was long association with Tom & Ella and my parents, but my happy times were in the late 1950s/early 1960s when Margaret and I were both playing hockey for Rovers and Tom was our chief supporter. He tirelessly drove us all around the North Island for hockey matches and tournaments. RIP the Caskey members that I knew well back in the day. You made a positive difference.
