Margaret HAMES Obituary

HAMES, Margaret Winifred. Peacefully at Oceania Meadowbank on 12 June 2025 aged 93 years. Dearly loved and cherished wife of the late Philip. Much loved Mother of Alison and Murray and Mother-in- law of John and Paula. Treasured grandmother of Sam, Jessica, Tom, Alistair and Rosie. Always in our hearts. A funeral service for Margaret will be held at St Paul's Methodist Church, St Vincent's Avenue, Remuera at 10.00am on Friday 27th June 2025. Special thanks to the staff at Oceania Meadowbank for their care and kindness towards Margaret. My sympathies for the loss of your dear mum Alison. I have lovely memories of her from childhood sleepovers at your house to coffees with her and my mum in Remuera, not forgetting her wonderful flower arrangements at St Paul´s including the flowers for our Dad´s funeral.
