Margaret FARRELL Obituary

FARRELL, Margaret Ann. Died peacefully at Northbridge Hospital on 6 June 2025 aged 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Roger, adored mother of Jessica and Henry, grandmother to Anna, Thomas, Isabelle and Sophie and cherished sister to Marion, Helen and John. Our deepest gratitude to those who cared for her and stayed by her side during her long illness. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Northbridge for their exceptional care of Margaret, and the support they gave to the family. A private service was held on Friday 13th June to celebrate Margaret's beautiful life. She is greatly missed. To contact the family or share memories email [email protected]. In lieu of flowers please donate to the SPCA or dementia research at the Neurological Foundation.

My sister Margaret Farrell nee Beattie was the daughter of Robert Buchanan Beattie of Otorohanga. Her many friends, acquaintances, and work colleagues in NZ and abroad will remember her for her friendship, her love of life and her sparkling personality. Although she has left us she leaves so many beautiful memories for her family and friends.
