Margaret DENTON Obituary

DENTON, Margaret Anne (Nee Broad). Of Bay of Plenty, formerly of Tokoroa 6th October 1937 - 20th December 2025 Passed peacefully at age 88. Loving and Loved Wife of Maurice (deceased), loved mother and mother-in-law of Raewyn and Daryl, Alan and Sandie, Carol and Mike, and Helen. Educator, Farmer, Embroiderer, Justice of the Peace, willing supporter of the Tokoroa community over many years. Daughter of George (Dick) and Eleanor (Nellie) Broad, sister to Heather, Richie, Max, Jimmy, Edward (deceased), Hazel and Helen and loved in-laws. Granny of Anthony, Jessica, Tania-marie, Sarah, Alana, Laura, Natalie, Marco, Tessa, Angus. Great-Granny to eleven. Generations of extended family have benefitted from her wise counsel and loving support. Sincere thanks to the team at Bay Sands for the outstanding care they provided, as well as the staff at Tauranga Hospital for their assistance over the last few years. A service for family and friends of Margaret will be held at Hope Family Funerals, 2A Loop Road, Te Puna at 2PM on Saturday 27th December 2025. This will be followed by a private cremation.
