Margaret CUMMING Obituary

CUMMING, Margaret Jean (Jeannie) (nee Campbell) Jeannie slipped away quietly on Sunday 20 March 2016 at Lady Allum Home in her 97th year. Neal, her late husband, was the love of Jeannie's life. Sam and Meg Campbell, raised Jeannie to be the fine woman we all know and love. George, Tui, Joyce, Robert and Malcolm, her siblings who grew up with Jeannie as their wise and loving oldest sister. Fergus, Robert, Alastair and Anne, are the children fortunate to have Jeannie as their mother. Barbara, Judith, John, Jill, Shirlene and Ling, are Jeannie's children-in-law whom she truly loved and thought of as her own. Robert, Samual, Elissa, Kimberly, James, Amarnda, Campbell, Florence and Jackson, are her grandchildren and her pride and joy. Nicholas, Christopher, Sophia, Jiah, Eva, Elle, Holly, Samuel, Felix, Theodore , Eli, Heath, and our little one nearly ready to join us, are her great grandchildren and a source of pure joy in her later life. To Ann-Marie, Merit, and, especially, Eleanoa and her wonderful team in the Kirkwood Wing of Lady Allum, at the end stage of Jeannie's life your loving care gave her contentment and peace; we simply cannot thank you enough. A service will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, on Wednesday 23 March at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation.
